MY 50th BIRTHDAY CRUISE! What we learned on this cruise is that we enjoy the quieter corners of the ship. If the party was on the Lido deck, you could find us in the hot tub in Serenity. We learned to navigate the ship the way it suited us and it worked so well. We ate dinner in the Main Dining Room on the frist night and it took well over an hour so for the rest of the cruise we ate at the buffet which served the exact same food as the MDR only it didn't take over an hour and we didn't have to dress up or sit at a table with people we didn't know.
DAY1: NASSAU. We didn't get off the ship! We went to Nassau on our honeymoon and I read online someone suggesting staying on the ship while at ports and enjoying it without all the people. Most of the restaurants stay open and the pool, hot tubs and Lido deck are less crowded. The casino is closed while in port. This was the best decision and i think we'll try to work it in at least once with every cruise.
DAY 2: DAY AT SEA. MY 50th birthDAY! It was a great day. I was born at 1:04pm and we were hanging out in the hot tub in Serenity counting down the seconds. It was perfect. We just relaxed, gambled a little and ate all day.
DAY3: BIMINI. Since neither of us had ever been to Bimini we figured we had to get off the ship and dip our toes in that beautiful blue-green tropical water. We took a short free tram ride around a small part of the island just to do a little sightseeing, walked around Fisherman's Village then hung out at the free beach next to the port for a bit then back to the ship for a late lunch.
DAY 4: BACK HOME TO COUNT THE DAYS UNTIL OUR NEXT CRUISE.
