Making Your Cruise Reservation

Cruise fares are per person which includes children and infants. When traveling with two full fare guests, additional guests in the same stateroom pay a discounted cruise fare. Children less than 2 years of age are not required to extend gratuities.

Infant Policy
Infants must be at least 6 months of age at the time of embarkation in order to sail. Children must be at least 12 months of age at the time of embarkation to sail on trans-ocean crossings and remote itineraries, where there are more than 2 consecutive sea days.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION

Travel documents are required for all guests, including infants.

Traveling with Minors

When traveling with a minor where one parent or both parents or legal guardians are not cruising, we strongly recommend bringing an original signed letter from the absent parent(s) or legal guardians authorizing the minor to travel with you. If there is no second parent with legal claims to the minor (due to sole custody, deceased, etc.) other relevant paperwork, such as a court decision, death certificate, birth certificate naming only one parent, would be useful to bring in place of a signed letter. Traveling with a child that is not your own

Are you traveling with a grandchild, niece, nephew, or other child that you are not the guardian of? When a minor (age 17 and under) travels without their legal guardian, an accompanying adult must present a notarized form signed by the child’s guardian. This ensures the child has the guardian’s consent to leave the country and participate in release-form activities onboard.

Different Last Names

If your child has a different last name than you, you will need to bring an official supporting document to help explain why the names are different. The supporting document must be the original, or a notarized copy. Some examples of valid supporting documents:

State, county or province-issued marriage license
Divorce decree
Government-issued name change document
Official adoption paper

Just a short distance from the ship, you'll find Captain Jill's Galleon, an interactive pirate ship where your little ones can play, with water cannons, a small slide and water sprayers. A little further down the path, you'll arrive at Splashaway BaySM aqua park, a larger spray and splash area with a swinging bridge waterslide, water cannons, fountains, pools, whirlpools and a drench bucket. This aqua park is fit for most ages as long as your child is potty trained. Babies and toddlers wearing swim diapers are allowed in all pools and in the ocean at all beaches.

On-Board Water Sports
Children who are not toilet trained (and those in diapers or swim diapers) are not allowed in any of the water facilities on board, as per United States Public Health Services. Toilet trained children should be taken on frequent bathroom breaks. Water sports include pools, spray parks, waterslides and whirlpools. Carnival provides clear and conspicuous signage to alert guests that lifeguards are not on duty and parental supervision is required for children at our pools.

Breast Milk

For guests bringing breast milk on board, in order to refrigerate it, it is recommended you bring a cooler (no larger than 12" x 12” x 12”) and request ice from your Stateroom Attendant. You may also store the breast milk in the refrigerator at Guest Services. If breast milk is to be used post-cruise, you must alert the onboard Guest Service Desk so appropriate authorities may be advised. This information applies to mother’s traveling with their babies on board or traveling without them.

Breast Feeding Policy
Nursing mothers have the right to breast feed in public or private areas and are not required to cover themselves while doing so. This policy is consistent with state law in 49 states in the U.S.

Camp Ocean® does not accept children under the age of 2 unless they are turning 2 years old during the cruise. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Children ages 2 to 5 may attend and participate in the Camp Ocean program.

For the convenience of our guests, Carnival offers Night Owls (babysitting) for children 6 months to11 years old, allowing parents time to enjoy the nightlife without having to worry about their little ones.
