The Faster to the Fun (FTTF) package from Carnival Cruise Line is worth the price for some, but others say it's not. The price depends on the length of the cruise, and the package includes benefits like priority check-in, early boarding, and express luggage.

Price

The price of FTTF varies depending on the length of the cruise
For example, in December 2024–June 2025, FTTF costs $79.95 per cabin for 2–3 day cruises, $109.95 per cabin for 4–5 day cruises, and $149.95 per cabin for 6–8 day cruises

Benefits

Priority check-in: FTTF guests have access to separate security screening lanes and an express boarding lane
Early boarding: FTTF guests can board early and drop off their luggage
Express luggage: FTTF guests receive express luggage delivery
Stateroom access: FTTF guests have access to their staterooms early
Dining reservations: FTTF guests can make dining reservations
Priority water shuttle boarding: FTTF guests have priority boarding for the water shuttle

Who can purchase FTTF?

Now guests can maximize their vacation fun with Carnival's Faster to the Fun® (FTTF) package. This program is available for purchase on the Carnival website. Space is limited. Simply click on your cruise ship departure port for availability. Faster to the Fun is very popular and sells out quickly so you are encouraged to check back in case of cancellations.

Faster to the Fun is currently open through June 2025. It is not offered on Carnival Journeys departures, cruises in Europe nor on cruises from Norfolk and San Francisco.

Note: VIFP Club Diamond and Platinum members do not need to purchase this package as these and other benefits are included as part of your VIFP Club status. Guests traveling in suite accommodations also are entitled to these benefits with the exception of priority luggage delivery and a dedicated phone extension and line at Guest Services.

HERE IS WHAT THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:

Priority Check-in

Upon arrival to the terminal (during your arrival appointment), look for the Priority line to check-in.

Early Bag Drop-Off

Once on board, you will be able to drop off your carry-on bags in your stateroom until your room is ready. Only suites are ready upon arrival.

Priority Luggage Delivery

Your checked luggage will be expedited to your stateroom so you can unpack and get settled in for a great vacation!

Guest Services

You will have a dedicated phone number and line at Guest Services so you can quickly have your questions answered.

Dining Reservations

Priority Main Dining Room and Specialty Restaurant reservations (excluding Your Time Dining).

Priority Water Shuttle Boarding

If you choose to explore the destination on your own, you will have the option to choose a priority water shuttle from the ship to shore.

Debarkation

You may choose an early or late debarkation time upon arrival to your homeport.

Price

The price is per stateroom, so only one guest needs to purchase Faster to the Fun and all occupants in the stateroom receive the benefits. Prices are subject to change and may vary by ship. Faster to the Fun is subject to availability.

A Few Facts on Faster to the Fun...

The FTTF price is not per person. One ticket per stateroom covers all occupants of the stateroom, so only one guest needs to purchase and all occupants receive the benefits.
For guests sailing on multiple cruises back to back, FTTF must be purchased for each cruise in order to benefit from the program.
FTTF can only be purchased prior to the cruise; ala carte services cannot be purchased on board.
The number of people who may purchase the FTTF package will be capacity controlled based upon the number of VIFP Diamond and Platinum members booked on the sailing.
Guests who completed their Online Check-in prior to purchasing the FTTF package, will need to re-print their boarding pass and luggage tags so the FTTF stamp reflects on the documents.
All guests including FTTF guests are required to select an Arrival Appointment that works best with their plans when completing Online Check-in.
- FTTF Guests who show up at a time prior to their selected Arrival Appointment window will not be accomodated. Upon arrival to the terminal, guests must look for the priority line to check-in.
- If FTTF guests arrive after their selected Arrival Appointment window, they will be accommodated in the priority line.
VIFP Diamond and Platinum members and guests traveling in suite accommodations are the only guests to have access to the Captain’s Lounge at embarkation.
Once at the pier, when boarding begins, we will board VIFP Club Diamond guests first, followed by VIFP Club Platinum guests, followed by guests traveling in suites and then Faster to the Fun guests.
Dining Reservations: FTTF guests will be cleared after VIFP Platinum guests. This benefit does not include specific time reservations for 'Your Time Dining'.

Guests who show up at a time prior to their selected window will not be accomodated. If priority guests arrive after their selected window, they will be accommodated in the priority line.

**My personal experience and review of FTTF: We purchased FTTF for our cruise on Carnival Liberty in March 2024. We live local to Port Canaveral and cruise often, and it's just the two of us, so we aren't really in a hurry to get to any fun any faster but we figured we'd give it a try and see what it was all about. We had an early check in time on Embarkation Day and arrived on-time. We parked and went through security, which was very easy then we waited in a FTTF holding area for quite a while, maybe 45 minutes I guess the ship wasn't ready on time for boarding that day. We carried all of our luggage on board and were able to drop it off in our room upon boarding which was a nice perk. There is a dedicated guest services line set aside for FTTF, Diamond and Platinum and but we found ourselves watching the regular line seemingly move faster on multiple occassions. We usually visit guest services during slow hours or when we're passing by and see there isn't much of a line. Timing is everything. DISEMBARKAtION: We like to allow those needing to catch flights to disembark first while we grab breakfast so we didn't want to disembark early. We have a lot of flexibility with our schedule and we like to cruise often so we try not to spend too much extra money on our cruises so we just did not find the value in it for our personal situation. I think FTTF is better for families with kids or those who take only one big vacation per year or those who are traveling by plane and needing to coordinate with their flights.. FTTF is not for everyone but i can see how it could benefit some.
