Most walls and doors on cruise ships are metal, therefore magnetic. Magnetic hooks help keep your small spaces organized. We use them for our lanyards, hats and wet bathing suits. The stronger the magnets the heavier the items you can put on them. We currently use the 85 lb ones and could not hang a wet beach towel from it, you'd have to go up to 130 lb for heavier items.
