Walt Disney World; Epcot & art of animation resort

If you have ever lived in Orlando then you know that when you turn 21 you're supposed to "drink around the world" at Epcot. So for our baby's 21st birthday that's exactly what our non-drinking child wanted to do. We did more eating around the world than drinking. She did drink The Grand Mariner Orange Slush in France and a Violet Sake in Japan and liked them both, then me and dad had to happily help her finish  a frozen margarita in Mexico that was too "strong". 

We spent the night at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. We thought it was fitting since she is a Digital Arts and Sciences major. The coolest part about staying at this resort is you can take the Disney Skyliner from the resort to the back entrance of Epcot then take it back to the resort at the end of the day.

TIP: On your birthday, head to guest services when you get to the park and they will give you a free birthday pin to wear. All day long cast members will wish you a happy birthday and i believe in some parks there may be a few other perks as well.   

WHAT WE LEARNED: Most of the food and beverage stands in the countries don't open until  11am so if you get to the park  early just hit the attractions in the front of the park while you wait for the countries to fully open. 

We had a blast. Avery said it was her best birthday to date so i'll take that as a win!
